Indulge me while I review the past few days ...
On Friday, Cooper looked the keys in the van, which put me behind to pick up Abby from school to take her to the pulmonologist in Akron. We managed to get there on time (with no tickets) and even stumbled onto a Cold Stone Creamery afterward. Which was good because I hadn't eaten yet.
On Saturday, Jimmy was helping with a project that no one let him know had gotten done the day before. He missed a day of work and I had two dozen donuts for workers that were finished. That evening, our oil took too long to heat and the turkey we were deep frying for Super Club was well done on the outside, but raw on the inside. Then the jello salad that was brought had nuts in it - which we learned AFTER Jimmy had some.
Our unfortunate event on Sunday will remind undiscussed.
On Monday, Cooper woke from his nap with a fever. After dinner I left Jimmy and the kids at home while I went to get groceries. When I went outside to leave, the garage door had come apart and wouldn't open. While Jimmy was fixing that, Cooper locked the keys in the van - again. This time boths ets were inside. We got into the van and I left. Jimmy called me a bit later to let me know Cooper had yaked all over him.
Cooper kept saying his ear hurt so we went to the dr. today, expecting to be told his tubes had come out already. In fact, he has tonsillitis. Here we go again. I give him 18 months and they'll be cutting them out as well. He's passed out on my bed now, for the second time today he let me leave him. Of course he is OUT like a light.

So after Jimmy gets home from work, we'll go vote. I'm glad to have a voice in our government. I'm glad to play a role in what America will be like for Abby and Cooper and their children. I'm glad to have the chance to clean up the air around us (Issue 4 and Issue 5 are the big news around here.) But most of all, I'm glad that all of the annoying candidate commercials will be over.

aahhhh....one of THOSE weeks, hang in there,
ohio sure was big news yesterday, did they actually pull all the republicans into the streets and execute them mafia style, or was that just media rhetoric and hyperbole??
Yeah I don't want to talk about it. I'm trying to block out all the Democrats winning and focus on us passing the Smoke-Free issue. Now I can go get drunk and not lung cancer!!! (Just kidding!) Now I can take my kids bowling and we won't all stink!
hey girl haven't you ever heard that it takes rain to make things grow. It may be pouring right now but, something beautiful and awsome is about to grow out of it. You and yourn will be richly blessed if you hang in there and trust in God to move things for you and be his tools.
Hope cooper is doing fine.
Abby was so funny at church last night where does she get it from.
If ya'll need anything don't be afraid to call us and ask we will co anything we can to help our family.
Hammie and I enjoy you all so much and the direction you are helping the church to see itsself going.
With Jeff and Jill's vision and a hand full of others who dare to dream God will bless Ashland and all of Ohio.
God is doing magnifacant things through his people I stand in awe at his presence.
Have faith in our elders they are bound to go through some growing pains too but God will show them the way he wants to go. But we have to be prepared to except Gods answers too either way too wait and be patient that the time may not be ripe for harvest yet or he may want us to go in another direction just keep trusting and keep the faith.
Just wanted to comment about the tonsils thing. D.J. has his out when he was three and there has been a big difference in his sick times. Sometimes before they were removed, he was sick with fever and cold every two weeks through the winter.
Our week was kind of crazy, too. Hang in there!
