There cannot be more beautiful children than mine. No offense to my friends, or anything. I mean, Gilly, Sage, Lainey, Landon, Kadie, Eli --- they're all cute. But seriously, not as cute as Abigail and Cooper are.

People everywhere stop us an tell us how cute they are. Abby's curls amaze people. To be honest, they shock the life out of me as well. My hair will not curl and there is her precious head covered in these perfect ringlets. I owe a big thank you to my Granny Bama for those. And Cooper's fat cheeks and four - actually, five-toothed grin, make total strangers smile. He flirts with every girl that's around. And they flirt back which is so cute. It'll be cute for about 15 more years. After that, I'll be more particular about who he flirts with and who flirts back. Until then, I'll love every minute of it.

So what are my kids up to these days ...

Abigail is SOOO ready for school to start back up next week (and so am I!!!) She misses her teachers and her classmates. And she's eager to get to the week the letter is 'P' because she knows they are going to Pizza Pro and they'll get to make their very own Pizza. I've already begun scrapbooking the page in my head! She's also excited about her dance recital (even though it's months away.) At dinner last night she was trying to tell us how her dance goes - without getting out of her chair.

Over Christmas we took her to see The Chronicles of Narnia: the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe and she loved it. She's been trying to get all of the Happy Meal figurines that go with the story. (She still needs Edmund and Peter is anyone wants to help her.) Tonight Jimmy began reading her the book and she held the characters up as they did something in the story. It was so cute.

Cooper is finally getting more teeth. Abby had seven teeth when she turned 1. Cooper had four. He's had one just barely poking out since Thanksgiving and last week I asked Todd about it. (It's great to be chummy with a dentist.) He said, "Stop worrying about it, it'll come out when it's ready." Two days later the tooth was out. When I told him he just said, "Well, of course it did. I prayed about it." I love him. Anyway, now that one's out and there are two more close behind.

Funny story for those of you who DON'T have a son. Boys can get yeast infections. (And here I thought that was yet another special thing reserved for us girls!) So Cooper's doctor put him on a cream that helps, but the diaper limits the speed it can help. Today he tells us to let Cooper "air out" as much as he can. So he took his nap in a onesie (no diaper) which, like the bedding, was soaked after the nap. He took a shower with Dad and did fine (dressed, but no diaper) until after dinner. Jimmy took his outfit off of him and within minutes the child was peeing everywhere in the house. He'd walk down the hallway to find you, look up and pee. He sat on the floor drinking from his sippy cup -- sip, pee; sip, pee. And all we could do was stand there and laugh. And use a lot of towels.

Anyway, to my friends whose children I insulted at the beginning (either by naming them or not naming them) know that I love your chidren and think they are beautiful --- just not as beautiful as mine are!

I hope you are always your kids biggest fan! Mom's are supposed to be! I'm not offended that you think your kids are the cutest - just proud to make the list of runner-ups!
