Is she really four? Why does it seem like just yesterday that she was so small. Now she has little debates with us about what she should wear and what we should have for dinner. The first page in her scrapbook for the past year has this in it:

Oh, sweet Abigail. It seemed when we started this book you were still a baby. Perhaps it was the for-the-most-part-still-bald head. But in this year, you became a person. You began writing and asking questions. You went from being the cutest kid in the world to sharing the title with a little brother. You began to sense things and remember things and develop such independence. And yet, still such innocence. If this one short year could bring such change, how will we feel in 14 years when we celebrate your eighteenth birthday and I hand these books to you for you to keep? Will we still see the excited four-year old eyes as you become an adult? What moments will we remember the best? It is our most heartfelt prayer that more than anything, your eyes are ChristÂ’s eyes. That you are always looking to bring joy to other peopleÂ’s lives and that your spirit is filled to overflowing with the love of the Father.

Today will be a fun day! This morning we are going to Kadie's to play until dance class. After dance class, we'll have lunch with Kadie, Kami and Eli. An afternoon nap, then birthday dinner and presents. After that is church and Abby is bringing a fun snack for her class.

Happy Birthday Abigail Grace!
